Laura moved to Aotearoa from England in 2013 having completed her medical training in the UK. She worked in Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Psychiatry before starting her GP training in 2017; she joined the team at EBHC in 2024.

Laura is interested in all aspects of General Practice and is particularly interested in whakawhānaungatanga and providing care at all stages of life. She is able to perform minor gynaecological procedures such as Mirena insertions and Pipelle Biopsies.

As a Lyall Bay local, she is enjoying working close to home and providing care to her own community. Laura lives with her partner and 2 children and in her free time she enjoys going to the pool, spending time at the beach and exploring the great outdoors of Wellington!
